What is available?

You will find the complete range of laptops at our computer shows. We cater for the simple entry level right through to state of the art machines, able to cope with the demands of gaming or high demand business use.

We have laptops that are brand new and also laptops that are second hand or have been refurbished. The brand new laptops will typically save you around 10-15% on high street prices, while the refurbished can be anything up to 50% cheaper.

What are Refurbished Laptops?

Refurbished laptops are typically laptops that have been sold on by large corporations for recycling.

These corporations replace their IT stock every couple of years, as it is not feasible for them to upgrade the existing machines, due to the logistics of staff being without machines and also the security of data stored on them.

Therefore they sell large quantities of high end commercial laptops in bulk to computer recyclers such as the traders that attend our shows.

The vast majority of the machines are good enough to be sold on, however some may have damaged screens or worn keyboards. In this case the computer recyclers install new screens or keyboards while ensuring any sensitive data is removed as required by law.

This means that you can pickup a two year old laptop for a fraction of the cost of a similar new model. Don’t forget that these corporations buy high spec machines, so you are guaranteed a bargain and with prices starting from as little as £99!

Can I repair or upgrade my own laptop?

If you already have a laptop you are happy with but maybe it is running a bit slow, has a damaged screen/keyboard or is running low on disk space, then why not upgrade at the show.

Due to the computer recyclers having years of experience, they will be able to provide or source the parts you require and even fit them for you if required. Please note this may not always be possible on the day of the fair and the laptop may need to be taken away.

What are the prices?

The refurbished laptops start from as little as £99 through to the top end at anything up to £700+, but don’t forget you will be saving anything from 10-50% on high street prices.

What is the warranty?

The warranty on all new laptops is the same as any high street as it is covered by the manufacturer and is usually 12 months. Refurbished laptops are typically 3-6 months.
